Bio Nano Cellulose and its wide variety of uses

Bio Nano Cellulose is a strong polymer consisting of nanofibrillar structures and a microporous structure. This, in turn, creates vast opportunities in the production of various composite materials, with significantly better characteristics. Unlike vegetable cellulose, it is quite pure, neutral and biocompatible. In addition, Bacterial Bio Nano Cellulose is non-toxic, and is a biodegradable polymer that is inert to human metabolism.

Bio Nanocellulose is a valuable biopolymer for the production of food, textiles, medicines and agriculture due to its unique properties. Studies have been carried out for the production of bio Nano cellulose and the possibility of its application in various fields according to the activity. Due to the properties described above it is used in many areas, for example: The paper industry, the particular medical field in medicines, in the food industry, in the preparation of desserts and in the field of cosmetology.

Bio Nanocellulose in the paper industry

Bacterial Bio Nanocellulose is compatible with plant cellulose and can be grown in a network of plant fibers, so Bio NanoCelulose will be an excellent candidate for paper manufacturing. Initially it was tested on a damaged paper culture, applying the Bio Nano bacterial cellulose on the surface of the paper. After 7 days the result is a thin layer. For this process, bacterial cellulose (approximately 10 um) was used. The structure of bacterial cellulose is more compact and makes the surface of the paper more hydrophobic.

Use of bacterial nanocellulose in cosmetology

In addition to the medical application of the bacterial nanocellulose membrane, scientists have studied its cosmetic application. This face mask, used for 5 minutes, is reported to have contributed to increased skin tightness. This effect is due to the water content of the mask, which increased the absorption of water into the skin. The bio Nanocellulose mask also adheres well and does not have strong odors.

After the first use of this mask, the skin becomes more radiant. Within a period of four weeks of use, wrinkles and fine lines are reduced. Bio Nanocellulose mask is clinically proven to help increase skin hydration. The interlocking, highly absorbent fibers of bacterial cellulose form a three-dimensional "stuff" that allows beneficial ingredients to penetrate deep into the skin. Since bio Nanocellulose tightly adheres to the face, while keeping in close contact with the complex of useful ingredients, for 20-30 minutes of use, this contributes to a deeper penetration of active components into the skin.

Bacterial Nanocellulose Biopacks

Everyone knows about the polyethylene problem. Throughout the world, the plastic bag has become part of the service of all points of sale. In addition, each of us, using a free package or bag, contributes to the pollution of the environment. It is estimated that the life of such a package on average is no more than 20 minutes and decomposes for more than 100 years, in the environment the expelled packages persist for a long time and are not biodegradable. Therefore, they have a high pollution impact.

Bacterial Nano Cellulose Biopackages are packets based on raw materials of plant origin, biologically degradable. Depending on the chosen composition, they can have a different shelf life (on average, from 3 months to 1 year) and a different decomposition period (from 3 months to 3 years). Bacterial bio Nanocellulose is an ecologically clean and biodegradable product.

Bioactive cartilage implants "Bacterial NanoCellulose"

Bacterial Bio Nano Cellulose removes proteolytic enzymes, cytokines and reactive oxygen species; it protects the organism from carcinogenesis and prevents the appearance of inflammation. An example of bioactive cartilage made from bacterial cellulose can be a nose septum, an ear, intervertebral discs, etc. It is widely used in reconstructive surgery. Since cartilage widens slightly in children and adults, bioactive cartilage implants are used more often in adults.
